Dear, my lovely heat damaged film strip

I'm packing away my life here in Sarasota into boxes. I'm moving back to the Philippines in only eight days. I was busy cleaning out my camera drawer when I came across my film camera which happened to have a roll of black and white in it already. Curious, I have no recollection of putting that film in there, or how many shots I took already and if I did take any, what were my subjects? Apparently I didn't take any and the film was sitting in my camera getting heat damage. The roll developed fine but had some green discolouration that got progressively worse the more pictures I took. These are the photos I took after going back and forth to the pier this whole week.

Some photos are from my perspective of sitting in my car as I drove by my subjects. Of course, I did walk up and down the pier in search of peoples faces. I did not tell the people how to pose, I just said "may I take your photograph?" and they stood as they pleased.

As a little girl I've loved the idea of bridges, fishing, boats, nets, the salt dried up on your arms, the patience of fishermen, and the love they have for what they do.
